Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the correlation between job satisfaction and job discipline among the computer sawing operator employees at production department of PT Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk in Bandung. The subjects of this research were 42 employees, taken from population using purposive sampling technique. The dependent variable was the employee’s job discipline, meanwhile the independent variable was the employee’s job satisfaction. The data of the variables were collected using two scales that were Job Discipline Scale and
Job Satisfaction Scale. The data were analyzed by means of Spearman’s Rank Order correlation technique. Data analysis showed that the t-obtained = 4.99; ttable = 1.684. Therefore, there was positive and significant correlation between job satisfaction and job discipline among the computer sawing operator employees at production department of PT Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk in Bandung.
